Bulletin Board - 1st Grade

This is a picture from the 2012-2013 school year of a 1st Grade bulletin board.

We drew our self portrait and used texture plates to do crayon rubbings to color them in. We made sure our self portrait had 2 eyes with eyebrows, a nose, a mouth with 2 lips, 2 ears along with all the details that make us... us!

I was lucky to be able to fit ALL of the 1st Grader self portraits in this display!

Bulletin Boards - Kindergarten

These are some pictures from the 2012-2013 school year of a couple Kindergarten bulletin boards.

We practiced using rulers and used only Primary colors in a Mondrian inspired project!

We practiced color mixing with tempera paint in our Primary & Secondary Colored Fish project!

We learned about the artist Louise Nevelson in a Found Art Assemblage project!
